Unable to use Air Asia online check-in from Singapore?

Featured Replies

A British friend of mine attempted to do an online check-in yesterday for an Air Asia return flight from SGN to DMK in a few days time, he got an error message advising him to use the check-in desk.

He's travelling with his Thai partner who was able to check in online for their flight.

He called Air Asia and an operative told him that this was a new rule from Thai Immigration, I'm not sure that I buy their explaination, Thai Immigration are not involved in the airline check-in process and in any case Air Asia carry out a document check in the check-in area.

He's panicing and I think he's overthinking the issue, has anybody else come across this, or have any ideas?

Do it at the kiosk at the airport
