Thai Reference/Guarantor on Visa Application

Featured Replies

Swasdi! I was told by the language school that I can leave this section blank. I also read that I can put myself. To avoid any potential complications I am looking for a legit reference. I dated a Thai girl briefly but we don't speak anymore, "I deleted her off FB to help get over her......mistake......." Anyways....... has anyone ever heard of a person getting hung up at the Embassy because they did not know any Thais or Expats? For the record, I am coming to Thailand for an 1 year ED VISA and am potentially looking at Thailand for retirement someday. Thanks in advance.

I don't know how long you got before you have to send in your app . Maybe you could email  a school admissions office asking for  general info on studies and than use that persons name who reply's to you as a guarantor!

You don’t need to provide a guarantor. You can leave it blank or right ‘self’.

As said you can leave it blank.

It also asks for a address and phone number. It sounds like I should not have any problems. Thanks for your input.
