BrakkaToss
So this is the situation: Had to do a 90 day report on September 10th, but completely forgot. The workplace usually used to take care of these things, so simply never really bothered to track dates too much. But the management changed and the help with immigration reporting came to an end. :)) Leaving Thailand in one month anyways, so should I bother doing this report? Will IO stop me and ask to pay the fine in the airport while leaving? Non-Immigrant B Visa + work permit holder.:) Thank you.:) Sent from my iPhone using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
ubonjoe
If you did the report at immigration now you would be fined 2000 baht. The do not check for 90 day reports at airports or border crossings. You could still be caught for not doing your report when you do a report 90 days after your trip out of the country. It just depends upon the immigration officer processing your report.

If you report late before leaving you’ll be fined 2,000 baht. If you’re caught before leaving the fine could increase to 4,000 baht. If you don’t report and leave, they might retrospectively fine you when you make a future report, although that’s unlikely. Quote Will IO stop me and ask to pay the fine in the airport while leaving? Highly unlikely as they don’t, as a rule, check for outstanding reports.

If there was no report slip in the passport they would never know since they have no access to records of 90 day report that are only maintained at local offices. Even if they noticed a report slip that was past due they could not do anything about it since is not their responsibility. 3

BrakkaToss
Thank you, everyone for your answers. Since I’m leaving Thailand and won’t really come back, then I think I will try to just go through airport and not bother reporting. Might be lucky enough not to pay:)) Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect
Peter Denis
When you are back in the clear with your 90 day reports, you could consider registering and doing your 90 day reporting on-line.

No need to register for the online 90-day reporting facility - just do it!
