October 10, 20196 yr Dear all, At first I want to thank all the forum members for answering so many important questions of other Thailand-travellers for my journey in getting to Thailand. A few months ago I recieved my Single pass Non-Immigrant Education Visa that lasts for 90 days. The 90 days are almost coming to an end and I need to extend it now. As I read in other topics it isn't possible to extend it in Bangkok when you're not in a Thai University. I'm doing my internship at a company so I guess it isn't possible for me to extend it here. Now I'm planning to re-apply my visa in Vientiane. Does anyone have experience with re-applying their Non-Immigrant ''ED'' visa there? Will I have enough with the documents I first gave when I applied? Or does anyone have other tips for me to extend my visa? Thank you all so much in advance. Kind regards, JiHare Edited October 10, 20196 yr by JiHare

Since it is a internship I am certain they have seen several application where a person needed another one. Edit: I suggest you take as much proof as you can to prove you actually going to be doing the internship not trying get another visa to just stay longer/

And is Vientiane the most convienent city to do your visa run regarding the visa on arrival there? And do the same requirements for a Non-Immigrant ''ED'' visa count for, for example, Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City?

The Lao visa on arrival costs $20 to $42 US dependent upon your nationality. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City may have different requirements. HCMC appars to have the same requirments. http://www.thaiembassy.org/hochiminh/en/services/7440/80810-Non-Immigrant-ED---Thị-thực-du-họcthực-tậpnghiên.html

I will go to HCMC, the reviews look good and the Embassy looks a lot less busy than the one in Laos. I will let you know how it went. Have a nice day. ????
