webfact
Indonesian couple busted for 2 million baht fake credit card fraud Picture: INN Tourist police chief Lt-Gen Chettha Komolwanthana announced the arrest of two Indonesians who committed credit card fraud in Thailand while staying on tourist visas. Police had evidence in the form of computer hardware, 24 payment slips, fake cards and two real credit cards. The pair had used data that they purchase on the so-called Dark Web to make cards and then used them at department stores to buy 2 million baht's worth of goods. Lt-Gen Chettha warned traders to check credit card details carefully to avoid falling victim to such scams. INN pointed out that Indonesians are rarely caught up in such crimes.
