Thai Rath reported that Bangkok and two surrounding provinces were the worst hit areas in the country this year from PM 2.5 air pollution.

And in a video feature they showed that some of those worst affected by the pollution are the traffic police.

The media listed Samut Sakhon, Bangkok metropolitan area and Samut Prakarn as the three worst hit areas in Thailand this year.

In Samut Sakhon there were 59 days in which the PM 2.5 levels exceeded limits with up to 134 micrograms per cubic meter.

In Bangkok it was 49 days, 104 micrograms.

Samut Prakarn registered 44 days, 97 micrograms.

The media noted that the top three were all in and around Bangkok.

In a video by their lifestyle team they highlighted the plight of the traffic police who they said are suffering from sore throats and asthma.

What a liars and fake new producers. Everybody knows Chiang Mai ranked nr 1 place may days for the most polluted city in the world.

Stop using  micro grams and start using AQI numbers like the whole world does, yes I know micro grams gives a much lower number and look much better right?

The whole world does not use the same AQI numbers. Stop using AQI and start using micrograms per cu.m. AQI has a quite different scale in a number of countries I.E. The US, China and India to name some. A US scale AQI of 124 is only 75 in India etc. If your AQI meter was manufactured for another market such as India, it could well be reading under. So use micrograms per cu.m. A US AQI 0f >200 (150microgram per cu.m) is rated as unhealthy but in India AQI 200 (90micrograms per cu.) is rated as moderate.
