I have duel citizenship, hence having two passports. 

It is of any advantage when trying to enter Thailand multiple times using Tourist visa? Or is it of no use as the IO able to see the History of both passports combined? 

 

Also, when calculating the 6 months a year, is it from the 1st of January every year?

Yes, once the two passports are linked the IO had access to your full entry record.

There is no official 6 month rule. But there is an unofficial 6 month rule, which IO’s seem to count as a rolling 12 months, not Jan -Dec.
