Woman Arrested for Stealing

Pattaya police were informed by Mr. Kusol, aged 35, at 10.30 am on 23rd March that he had detained a woman at his grocery store who tried to steal. He requested the police to go collect the thief at Nok Mini-mart located on Jomtien Beach Road.

Police officers found Mr. Kusol waiting with the suspect who was later found to be Miss Saowanee, aged 32, together with the evidence of 10 sun block cream worth 2,790 Baht.

The owner stated that he spotted her and another woman coming in together and stealing the lotions so tried to capture them but only succeeded in capturing one – the other got away.

Miss Saowanee confessed that she and her friends often do this as a gang. They would go into mini-marts and steal things then sell them and divide the money. They live in Sriracha but came all the way here so that no one would recognize them often acting as tourists.
