Death by market?

Featured Replies

We have just used the outer ring road south between 108 and the ping river. There is a popular market on the south side near Kwang Wiang. Some bright spark has erected a pedestrian bridge across the central ditch of the dual carriageway and people are ambling across both carriageways causing chaos. The last thing to expect in the outside lane is the car in front stopping for pedestrians, but then again TIT.

Sure but no problem in the inside lane though, eh?

If you are not ready for that what about stopping for dogs, buffalo, cyclists, down motorcycles, large solid objects that fell from trucks and .............

Pedestrians are just one of many.

welcome to no-stop * non-stop * won't-stop * Thailand.

depending on your length of stay, here, and, the extent to which your rose-colored glasses are virgin, befogged, or, were shattered to shards (as you face-palmed into reality) which now make your eyes bleed ...

I suggest replacing the asterisks in the first sentence with your choice of:

smiling

dhamma

culture

madness

Well, people need to park at the 7/11 then nip over the road.

Millions and millions spent on new highway design and its all a complete cluster...

That road around the maya....3 yrs completed, and orange cones and concrete barriers still not finished. Traffic entering the fast road via the exit lane, the overhead traffic lights to th e olde Wat junctuon still there. Not even a way off the road to turn left into the city.
