Hi all - we have bought a new house  and my question is if it's possible for my wife to get registered on the Section38 app and add me to the new address? I don't have to have it installed on my phone at all, right?

I've had to do 90 day registration today and they processed it using our old address (where we still live) Just want to get ahead of the game and sort it out before we move in in about 2 weeks' time.

Thanks,

But you can still have the app in your phone even if your wife registers in her name.

Would rather not. Requires too many permissions. Although I can turn them off selectively...

Will my wife be able to print a slip as proof of residency that I put in my passport to replace the current one or how does that work?

I do not know how it's done with the App, but other TVF members will for sure be able to answer that one.

I registered - in the name of my girlfriend who is the owner of the house where I live - on the IO TM30 website.

After filing a TM30 on-line, you can use the 'search' function which will search the TM30 database.  When your filed TM30 pops up, you can simply make a screenshot, and save that screenshot for later printing if you want to be able to show it in print-form at the provincial IO

Just take a screenshot when you're finished with the report and have done a search for it. When using the app you can do the same thing. I uninstalled my Section38 app after registering, and will re-install it next time I will use it. No problem with permissions that way.
