HTC
I've just had a small 6m x 3.5m overflow pool installed. The flow of water into the overflow tray is loud in my opinion. Sounds like a mini waterfall. Is this normal for this type of pool? I wasn't expecting this as some other pools I've seen are quieter. The water drops about 1.2m. I have a 1hp single speed pump. Anything I can do to reduce the noise?
Popular Post HTC
Forget it, false alarm. The pool shop that installed the system showed me how to regulate the speed the water falls over the overflow using the pool valves. 2
paahlman
was just going to say that... Even you have a hypercar that does 400km/h.. You dont need to press the pedal to maximum. Use the valves like on a normal sink when you wash your hands.
nongkhaidude
By reducing the flow is counter productive to filtering and Chlorinator ( If you have a salt system ) Plus you are wasting power and plus reducing the life of the pump ( Unless it is 3 phase which I am guessing it is not ). Go to home pro and buy Rain gutter and install it inside the tank using brackets made at the stainless shop. We use 2 down spouts and run the pipes all the way down into the normal water level and drill holes all up and down the length of pipes We have done this several times but I dont have any pictures or I would sent it to you
