TM 30 reporting online via App easy to use thanks to helpful immigration officers

After a recent trip recent trip to Krabi , i tried to do the TM 30 report online at first it the system asked me to upload certain documents that was not clear which documents so i took my Tambian Bahn and tittle to the Phuket Immigration office. I saw the often happy guy with glasses who is normally checking documents by the extensions office. He directed me to the building across from where he works and there i met two really nice helpful immigration officers in the far left hand building as you drive into the car park , these two guys just could not do enough to help me .

They downloaded the Section 38 app for me on my phone and then spent about 15 minutes in front of their computer and then gave me a username and password instantly and then registered me back into my home in Patong . They also introduced me to a very pleasant lady in there office who clearly explained how to use the app. 

 

I have lived here now 18 years and been on retirement extension for 11 years in a row , i  always find myself the staff at Phuket immigration very helpful and i respect them very well . I understand their job must be difficult dealing with so many foreigners from all different nationalities must be very stressful for them , perhaps we should remember this when we are there .

FYI > For those who can't or don't want to do their TM30s on-line using the App, but want to use the IO TM30 website to register and file their TM30s.

Just PM me and I will send over a step-by-step instruction to do it.

It's easy to do (if you know how) and once the 1st TM30 has been filed, subsequent TM30s are done in less than a minute.

Beats having to file your TM30s manually at your provincial IO or by post, by more than several street-lengths.

As a renter, I understand I can file as the possessor. What documents do I need to provide to get set up using the app?

I assume: passport info page, visa stamp, latest TM6 and stamp, front page of lease. What else am I missing? I have the hard copy of my landlord's original TM30 filing that was sent back from Immigration.

Tried using online TM30 but could not complete because I need the number of my TM6 Arrival card. When I went through Thai Immigration at Bangkok Airport the Immigration officer kept the Arrival card and gave me the Departure card. How can I complete the online TM30 form without the Arrival card?

It's the same number, same info etc.

Yes...my GF who reports me thought the same. It should say DEPARTURE card. It's the same number, as Newstthis said above.

My TM6 number had been recycled and was the reason my online reporting wasn't working (did not match my passport etc). When I talked to the girl at the immigration office she advised the TM6 field is not required so ignore it when entering your details. Only enter data into the fields that are marked as neccesary to be successful..

I've used the online app twice in the last month. I'm not sure if it worked since no confirmation acknowledged on the website. When I when to the "save" icon, the information simply vanished. I'm just assuming that they went through. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
