Hi I think this should be OK, but better to confirm with wise men here: if I arrive on SETV and I only make re-entry stamp (no extension) and leave, what if on my 2nd entry I decide I want to stay longer, can I make extension then? (and will it add +30 days to my 2nd entry stamp "Until" date?)

 

(PS. I'll stay in Phuket Dec/1-7 on SETV, will do re-entry stamp for next visit Jan/15-30, now I'm not sure if I'll want to stay longer, will know only then)

You can apply for the 30 day extension after using a re-entry permit for entry. It will start at the end of you original 60 day entry that the re-entry permit will keep valid.
