I have my retirement extension done at Jomtien every year (past 6 or 7 years). 800,000 Baht in bank method.

 

Thinking of going south for a while, probably Phuket  My next 90 days report is due mid January and my retirement extension early March.

 

My question is what do I do about my 90 day report if I am still in Phuket when it becomes due? Presumably I go to the Phuket immigration office and report??

 

If I am still in Phuket when the retirement extension becomes due can I renew it in Phuket and not my usual Jomtien?

No. You need to report to Jomtien unless you formally change your address in Phuket. You could do that online (maybe) or by post.

As long as you apply using a Phuket address you should be able to apply for an extension there.

Do it on-line, (90 day report) 15-7 days before due. 

Extension, easier to make it back to Jomtiem before then. Presuming you plan to return ultimately.

90 day needs be done where you got the extension, so do online or by mail

or get a reentry in phuket and leave the country  Ranong is only a 4 hour drive

 

To get ur extension in Phuket

you would need file a TM 28  as ur changing ur address,

otherwise, head back to Pattaya
