Tit-for-tat between Ms. Pareena and Seripisut turns absurd

Maybe the point being made was that corruption is a worldwide thing, not just a Thai-ism.

Pigs in the trough, rich guys being heads of state, Big business "donating" to political parties for favours.

What about pollies giving themselves pay-rises at the last sitting of parliament? (when they think no one is watching)

It goes on and on in the west...

Company directors giving themselves bonuses when performance was terrible.

Prime ministers who were once legal council for mafia figures.

Not to mention the scammers that caused a worlwide debt crisis and the crooks behind it being let off and bailed out.

You cant really call out one country on greed..its everywhere and its human nature.

This only applies to people who say it happens 'exclusively' in Thailand. No one did. This story is on a Thai website about Thai politicians.

People do bad stuff the world over. If every time someone did something bad, we shrugged our shoulders and said, "Ah, well. This happens everywhere" we'd never learn anything.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Dear Lord above us. This group of people are supposed to be representing the Thai public? I’ll never understand the concept of face here. This is beyond juvenile.

This is called democracy, people elected these MPs. Not saying its perfect, but better than a military government?

infantile absurdity

In Thailand? That’s actually the norm here. Surprised this even makes the news.

No, this isn't democracy. It's still a junta but without 44.
