I am looking for shea butter to make soap.

Does anyone have websites or relations to get some ?

You don't really need it.

It's an unnecessary additive.

Use 50/50 coconut oil/palm oil blocks available in many bakery supply shops.

Of just the straight palm oil blocks, add stearic acid if you want a harder end product.

That was my initial idea too: to find solid palm (palm stearin) oil that is cheap to produce and make the soap hard.

I went to few supermarkets, including Makro but did not find it.

Can you tell me one shop where I could find it ?

Thank you, they have good prices.

If you look on their main page they have a section just for cosmetic chemicals.
