james12345thailand
Hi Used to live in Thailand for almost 3 years on tourists visas. I left earlier last year to a neighboring country as I couldn't get any more tourist visas to live in Thailand and it was becoming too strict. Thing is I need to visit the embassy in Bangkok every 3/6 months to get a new visa. Will I have any issues flying into Bangkok due to previous long time spent in Thailand? I can show my long term visa from the other country, work documents and consular appointment letter and say I need to only stay for a few days etc, but worried they will think im trying to move back to Thailand and refuse me entry thus jeopardising my visa in new country. Any advice?
ubonjoe
You should not have a problem entering the country and getting a 30 day visa exempt entry. Be sure you have at the equivalent of at least 10k baht in cash and ticket out of the country within 30 days to show if they were to ask for it.
