Non-B extension

Featured Replies

Hello All

I have a work permit and a 1 year multiple entry Non B visa. My next visa run is 21st December. Is it possible to extend my current entry for 30 days at an immigration office instead of doing a visa run? I'm busy at work and don't want to take the 2 days for the visa run.

Thanks for your answers

There is no short term extension you can apply for.

You don't need 2 days, can come back on the same day if you fly.

Visa run with WP and non-B? I had a WP and non-B for years and never had to do a "visa run". Once a year my employer took care of renewal and I never had to leave the country.

You had a extension of stay based upon working issued by immigration not a valid non-b visa.

The OP has a multiple entry non-b visa. There are several reasons a person cannot qualify for an extension of stay.

Thank you ubonjoe. I didn't think there was but I thought I'd check

Fritsstink thank you for this pointless information. It's not what I asked and it's incorrect. From where I live and work I can't make a visa run by flying in 1 day. <removed>
