non-imm O visa renewal questions

Featured Replies

I wonder if anyone could answer a few questions regarding my upcoming non-imm O visa based on retirement renewal at CW.

I started my visa last year using monthly income, the IO told me that at renewal i would need to have had 800,000 baht in a thai bank account for at least three months.

I have had the money in a K bank fixed deposit account for over three months and have evidence from OFX and K bank that the money was transferred from abroad.

my questions are:

can i renew my visa any time in the two weeks prior to the renewal date?

do i need to complete any form/s?

assume i need to take photocopies of my passport, visa, TM6, bank book,  apartment rental contract - anything else?

my TM30 is taken care of by the staff at my condo, do i need to get any evidence from them that this has been done? if so what?

what evidence do i need from K bank regrading my account? and how/where do i get it?

do i need to show any activity on my K bank account? - it is a savings account, my day to day expenses are supported by cash i bring into the country from visits home

anything else i need, or need to do?

thanks for any help.
