What am I supposed to write on my TM6 card since I'm not leaving Thailand...(help appreciated)

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a job at a Thai company in Bangkok, and a work permit to go with it.

I've just realised my 90 day reporting is due, so plan to go to Chaeng Wattana immigration next week.

One of the requirements for my reporting is that I fill in my TM6 card and photo copy it.

The only problem is that I don't plan to leave Thailand - at least not in the near future - since I have a work permit, so what would I put on the 'departure date' details, and so on?

I guess I could ask at immigration, but that would mean I have to leave the queue and go get a photocopy taken, so would rather get it right from the start.

I really, really appreciate your help!

You only need a copy of your TM6 departure card you got on entry to the country.

The only thing needed on it is your name and passport number.

I have been lurking here for a few years and think you are a credit to this site.

Just in case you don't hear that enough. Thanks UJ!

Once you have done your 90 day report at CW you can do the next one online.

Saves wasting half a day going to CW again.
