January 1, 20206 yr Happy New Year to you all my VISA end date Mar 1, I used to apply extension on first week Feb, and usually that process takes 4 weeks. I have an overseas travel leaving Thailand on last week Feb, and coming back on first week Mar. when I return, my passport has an expired VISA date, and it doesn't have the new extension new stamps on it yet. how should I deal with it - apply earlier, express process, or different procedure on arrival ? cheers

Is it visa visit wife? oh no, I forget stating VISA type. yes, non-immigrant O, Thai wife. in the application of VISA extension, it usually take 4 weeks ( max ), the date is fixed and is posted on the board in the application office at Chang Watthana.
January 1, 20206 yr The Bangkok Immigration Office at Chaeng Watthana accepts a new application for extension 45 days before the expiration of the old one, at least for the retirement extension. Talk to them and see if they will accept your application for the marriage extension already during the third week of February, considering your travel itinerary. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
January 2, 20206 yr Popular Post You have two choices. One is to apply up to 45 days early that would allow time for the 30 day under consideration period to end and then get your new one year extension before your trip. Or apply closer to the date your current extension ends and then get a single re-entry permit that will be valid for entry up to the report back date on the under consideration stamp.
January 2, 20206 yr Author thanks ubonjoe and maestro, I think advancing the early application of the VISA extension, should be a more proactive and secured option. many thanks . . .
