libya 115
SOURCE: Pattaya People: April 2nd 2007 Police Volunteer Shot at Gas Station On 1st April while a Pattaya police officer was out patrolling on Sukhumvit Road he was informed through the radio that a shooting occurred not far from where he was and requested him to go and investigate. On arrival in front of a gas station the police found Mr. Amporn, aged 46, shot twice – once in the arm and once in the leg. He was later found to be a police volunteer of Banglamung Police Station. The team quickly aided him and took him to the hospital. The witnesses stated that earlier they were all drinking together at a karaoke. There were two men that kept looking at them sitting at a nearby table but there were no problems. When the injured man and his friends were heading back to Pattaya, the two men approached them and one aimed a gun at the injured and fired numerous shots at him but only two hit him, which caused his motorbike to crash. More investigation is ongoing about what really happened and why the man was shot.
