From June 2018 till May 2019 I stayed for about 11 months in Thailand with tourist visas and visa exempt entries . Since June 2019 I stayed in my country (the Netherlands).

I’m planning to visit my Thai girlfriend at the end of January and I don’t want to take the risk of being denied entry so I’ll be flying to Laos. I’ll be landing around 11am in Vientiane and hope to catch a 4pm flight from Udon Thani to Bangkok. I have some questions about the Vientiane – Udon Thani trip:

- If I pay the Lao visa at the airport with a 50 or 100 dollar bill, do they give the change in Dollars or Kip?
- How much is a taxi from the to the friendship bridge? And can I pay the driver in Dollars?
- How much is a taxi from the Thai side of the border to Udon Thani airport?

Why not just fly from Vientiane to Bangkok - much easier

Because hes afraid of entering via a bangkok airport.

 Perhaps easier to get one online in advance. Usually issued within 48 (working) hours.
