Home delivery - Thai media says cut price silencers easily available online

Thai media Daily News said that a video shared online showed just how easy it is to buy a silencer in Thailand. 

 

The story comes just days after a gold shop robber was caught on CCTV using one on a gun to shoot three people dead at the Aurora gold shop in Robinson's, Lopburi on Thursday evening. 

 

Other stories suggested that the silencer was Thai made and only available in a few locations in Thailand. 

 

But Daily News said that a foreign made silencer that would fit many specialist weapons could be purchased online easily.

 

One advertisement that had attracted nearly 60,000 views since June of last year spoke of a silencer for 3,500 baht, reduced to just 3,000 baht. 

 

With delivery right to your door. 

 

Police hope that tracing the silencer might lead them to the robber.

So, the problem is that it´s to easy to buy silencers. Naturally, everybody knows it´s the silencer that kills and not the gun.

That's great. Every fragile Thai man with a gun who can afford one will have one within a week. Forward....ever forward!

That looks like the one on the gun. What serial number controls are on them per Thai law.?

One that works? For the umpteenth time, they are NOT easy to make. I know. Ive worked on their design and manufacture.

 

I can duct tape a soda bottle to a pistol, yes, but the one you see being used is more than that.

Guns are inanimate, guns do not kill people kill.

As guns are banned except special circumstances all items related o them should be banned also.

Silencers are just a useless gun accessory without SubSonic Ammo.

Visit mostly any Thai market and no doubt dangerous weapons can be found on display, and bought very easily.

 

Money speaks in Thailand, but lives are cheap.
