Phuket Mafia
Howdy.. Any dentist recommendations in Udon? I just seen one place close to central plaza but I can’t read Thai nor find it on google maps. (Pic below) Anybody heard of it?
Puchaiyank
Small dentist shop almost directly in front of the 7/11...next to the big bus terminal near central mall...recommend. Don't recommend the newer looking shop across from UD Town...expensive...and will find more reasons you need to keep coming back to get their most exquisite expensive service...also staff reminds me of Catholic school teachers...a smile would break their face like humpty dumpty...
4MyEgo
Been going to one for years a little out of Udon Thani main shopping precinct, however still in Udon Thani on the main road, they are called Smile Studio, English speaking, modern and clean, reasonably priced, but as a farang, no doubt a little more expensive than Thai's I would imagine, but a hell of a lot cheaper than back home. If you Google the name and click on the link, you can see photos. Smile Studio Dental Clinic ave Dentist in Ban Lueam Address: 80 Pho Si Rd, Ban Lueam, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani 41000 Phone: 095 665 9523
Phuket Mafia
Thanks! I’ll check both Of these places out and compare prices. I’m going to need a root canal and crown so I’m looking at some big money... or at least to me.

Ricohoc
If the dentist office by the bus station is a lady dentist, she has had an excellent reputation in UTH for many years. If I was unhappy with my own dentist, I would probably go to her.
Phuket Mafia
-Update- Went to Smile Studio and actually had kind of a bad experience. The root canal procedure that was only half complete was extremely painful. i was told due to the severity of the infection the local anesthetic was in ineffective. It had to be the most painful dental experience I’ve ever went through. Think shooting nerve pain constantly. I’m not sure if my tooth is really that bad or it’s simply an incompetent dentist. This isn't the normal dentist either, it is the root canal specialist. Well I’ll be returning in 2 weeks for the other 2 canals to be filled. Going to have to numb myself this time. High tech stuff. One sitting. Done. And absolutely painless.

He had some fancy gadgets like a big microscope. Absolutely zero pain.. but then again I did opt for the nitrous so perhaps that helped.
