TM30 still needed for extension based on retirement O-A?

Featured Replies

I will be extending my stay based on retirement in the next couple-few months and wondering about current TM30 requirements for that process. Last year I mailed in TM30 with all documents each time after two trips abroad. But I never received any receipt back. So I have not mailed in TM30 after returning my most recent trip abroad.

Would appreciate hearing from someone with recent experience. Thanks.

Different offices, different experiences. You don't mention where.

No that recent, but I did extension based on retirement last Oct at CW.

I had a tm30 with me (first time I had in 7 yr). The op did not mention tm30.

Went through the docs....bankbook, bank letter, passport etc.

At the very end I pushed across photocopy on online receipt of tm30 from condo.

She did not even pick it up. Just pushed it back.

Thanks for that.

Has anyone else had similar, more recent experience of TM30 no longer needed for extension based on retirement?

Peter, I'm just bumping your post because you had zip feedback

Here is my take on CW.

1. 90 day report...tm30 not required.

2.  Extension to visa exempt or setv etc, most likely tm30 required.

3. Extension for annual to non o retirement etc tm30 not required.

Possible exception to #3 is based on marriage. Why? because they can.

This post is based on personal extension Oct last year and personal chats and reading Thaivisa

Happy to be corrected. Keep in mind OP is about CW.
