Crouton
I'm in the US and going to the consulate for a tourist visa. The instructions say to fill out ALL the application and there are check boxes for each type of visa so it seems one form fits all. I got to the part where it asks for: Reference person and address in Thailand This is my first visit so I don't know anyone there. Is this going to a problem? Is it applicable to a Tourist Visa? Thanks!
lopburi3
I always put "self" when I come to such a block. That way the form is filled out. Leaving anything blank on an official form is a sure key for officials to take notice.
astral
It is my understanding that those fields are for people applying for Business visas. For a Tourist visa they can be left blank.

I suspected as much , but they say to fill it out completely. Just another confusing thing with these visas. I hope my consulate agrees! Thanks for the help!
