Just another day for ganja family busted dozens of times

The Bang Yai district chief sent in his men and local police after reports that a family was dealing drugs. 

 

Sure enough, outside the two story townhouse number 63/462 in Soi 10/15 there was 60 year old Aree selling pot to passersby in the street. 

 

Inside was 66 Suwit, her husband, who was watching her.

 

Within the house were 17 ziplock bags containing 69.2 grams of dope and 93.3 grams of compressed ganja. There was also 21,040 baht which was taken into evidence. 

 

Soon Ongart or Boy, Aree's son arrived. He was completely nonchalant about the authorities being there - he'd been busted dozens of times over the last ten years, so what. 

 

He admitted that all the drugs were his. 

 

He is known to have been treated at Sri Thanya - one of Bangkok's leading mental health facilities - for mental health problems. 

 

All the family were charged.

Big hats are buying ganja from northern Laos by the tons and selling it in Thailand to pham companies to turn into legit medicine. But make news by going after the peanut vendor.  Get rid of the unfair practice by allowing people to grow and sell like it is a vegetable. It will help millions of poor people instead of two affluent individuals.

Just visit Beach Road anytime of the night to purchase any kind of drug. They are very industrious in sand reclamation ????????‍♂️
The smoko they sell is otherwise known as “<deleted>/<deleted>” for a better word????????‍♂️
It is overpriced & cough inducing & should be relegated to the sidelines????????

About time they are seeing the benefits for the population to “grow their own” - bring on hydroponics????????????

I wonder what these old people will get ? jail term ?

Lol, it is like less than 2 dollar a gram, if selling to locals, a dollar a gram. Must be tourists buying from tuk tuk mafia reporting those prices lol.

Never having purchased cannabis in Thailand, I was just quoting a website.

It's a pretty rough bong and a bit to much plasticine for the seal around the stem and a bit long.The older gent must be wishing they would hurry up because he's really hangin for another mull or may I could chop up a quick brew right now.   

You've far bigger concerns to address at the moment, than some hillbilly weed sellers. ????

I thought it was obvious, but alright. The BIB, have much bigger issues that they should be focused on, than some low income family selling schwag.

Sorry my bad I was off with the fairies.

What a joke, a few years ago I was staying in Pai. The tribes people were selling openly. The informers were right beside them. Opium, Heron the workes. Only the buyers were busted.

Business as usual then.I tried smoking Heron once but the feathers gave off a horrendous smell now I stick with Heroin!

Dope can mean many things (i.e. you silly dope for buying Ganja from unknown sources) and ganja has only one meaning.
