Thai caption: Little doggy won't abandon his pal, killed on the road

Picture: 77kaoded

77kaoded said it was a terrifically touching picture that was so sad.

It was taken by a man called Jaran Rakwong, 39, who posted on a Line application group.

His picture was of a light colored dog who would not leave its friend who had been killed in a collision.

Jaran told the media that he had been on his way to a relative's house on February 6th when he saw the dead dog. He didn't think much of it.

But on his return an hour later he noticed the other dog. He claimed it was crying.

Jaran said he borrowed a hoe and dug a grave in a rubber plantation by the road and buried the dog.

Then went in search of the owner of the one left behind.

It all happened in the area of Ban Huay Mai Kaew, Khao Phanom, Krabi in southern Thailand.

Unusual for a thai person to show some heart in a situation such as this one, kudos.

no money involved ..... good luck with that one

Same thing happened while I was going for an early morning walk about a month ago.

I had to coax the sibling off the street and move the dead puppy. Not a pleasant experience.

Touching story.  A relief from the human misery stories.

A policeman I knew told me that , when he was called to a place somebody died ( flat or house ) , sometimes they lay there for weeks before being discovered . Sometimes they had pets . He said , the people who had cats , often had their face partially eaten by the cat , as the cat tried to survive somehow ... The people who had dogs , had nothing ... the dogs just lay next to their owner and waited to die . They would not harm their owner , even dead already .
