Thieves Abandon Stolen Bike

A group of thieves were forced to leave a stolen a motorbike behind a hotel as there was no safe way for them to take it out of Pattaya. The police were everywhere.

At 11.00pm on 4th April, Pattaya police were informed by staff of the Siam Sawasdee Hotel located Soi Buakhao that a group of teenagers brought a Suzuki motorbike and parked it on the empty field behind the hotel then left. At first the staff thought it belonged to them but since they did not return they thought it strange so called the police.

When the police arrived, they found that the hidden motorbike with no documents, therefore the officers took it back to the police station.

The police think the thieves must have come from the outskirts of Pattaya to steal this motorbike and when they saw the police checkpoints and patrollers they left it near the hotel hoping to return and collect it at a later date hopefully when no police were about.

Police are now investigating who the legal owner of the bike is.
