Cool to cold conditions in the morning continue in the North and the Northeast with temperatures dropping by 1-3 degrees Celsius in the North, Central and East regions.

In the South more rain and the strong winds and waves are forecast in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southward with waves at 2-3 metres high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore, the department advised.

The weather forecast for the next 24 hours is as follows:

This is all well and good, but what we need is rain.

Another pathetic forecast, at least for our part of the North-east. The cold weather was monday and tuesday, now warming up again.........
