Bookshops in Korat

Featured Replies

I have never been to Korat but am looking to have a few days there in the next few weeks and I wondered if there were any 2nd hand book shops in Korat where I might pick up some reading material in English?

Any help and addresses would be appreciated.

The only place I've found Eng. printed books in downtown

is DK Books. It's on the soi directly behind Ya Mo. It's down

a half mile on the L/H side as you travel away from Ya Mo.

If my memory is OK, it's between the 4th and 5th soi from

Ya Mo. The #1 yellow and the #1 white songtaos turn behind

Ya Mo and go past DK Books and then turn L and go over to

the Uni.

They are not books from the best seller's list, mostly plder

Are you referring to the large Yamo Market south and east of The Mall, or something else with Yamo in its name ?

No, the statue downtown, inside the moat.

Hwy. 224 top of pic.

L hand side of the tip, is DK Books.

Try the SaveOne Night Market for used books, very cheap. Located on Hwy 2 going toward Bangkok about 3 KM past Hwy 304 and Hwy 2 intersection.

Also a nice night out.
