Anyone know if there are still torrent sites around? Have't used one for about 5 years as they were getting a bit nefarious. But handy for movies, software etc. Any advice appreciated

Yeah, rarbg is great. Then there is eztv, which is a great place for series. The bay is still around as well.

 

I use the three above and sometimes also rutracker for music.

 

If you have trouble accessing, try going through a VPN - sites or protocol itself often blocked these days.

Are they like Limewire, Frostwire back in the day? Person to person sharing or has it changed now?

Who is blocking bt protocol? .. 3BB have been most helpful when I explained what I was doing.

I don't know what all this is about needing some kind of "unblocker" but I just use " Bit Torrent 7.10.5 " as my client and can access all of the torrent sites that are in my favorites.  No VPN or additional programs needed,  TOT Fiber, Na Jomtien

Rarbg is great for quality releases on most recent movies and TV series. The good old PirateBay can't be beat for software, if it's up and you can access it.
