webfact
Energy minister wants forum for ‘exchanging ideas’ with protesting students By The Nation Energy Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong Energy Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong said today (March 3) that the Cabinet must work together to solve many issues, including listening to protesting students and dealing with the Covid-19 coronavirus, which is affecting the economy. “A Cabinet reshuffle after the no-confidence debate will depend on the prime minister,” he said. Referring to students’ moves to organise protest rallies against the government, Sontirat said it is their right to do so under the constitution, and the Cabinet needs to listen to their opinions. “Meanwhile, I want to set up a central forum for exchanging ideas,” he added. “I think these discussions will be of benefit and I believe many parties want to see the country move forward.” Source: https://www.nationthailand.com/news/30383262 -- © Copyright The Nation Thailand 2020-03-03 Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking Thailand news and visa info

Popular Post legend49
Just a distraction by the Energy Minister , it stops students from protesting which the government doesnt know how to control yet. If the students really believe this Junta will listen and ACT on their advice then take up pig flying competitions. 5

The students have seen what the government has to offer and isn't very much at all. The government has no idea what the students want and will perhaps listen and then completely ignore it.

They mostly have but the government doesn't want to hear their message. The government fought tooth and nail to get where they are, and they won't give it up easily.
