I plan to apply for a 30 days stamp extension in Pattaya. I have an Airbnb booking from the date of application for a week and plan to use host’s address in the application. 1) can an Airbnb booking be used for a for visa extension purposes or it has to be an actual hotel booking? 2) is a weekly booking long enough to get a 30 days visa extension?

The only accommodation related requirement is that a TM30 notification be done for your address at the time of the application for the tourist entry extension. At some offices, even this is unnecessary.

 

Off topic (because it will not affect your application for an extension) in Thailand, renting out through Airbnb for less than a monthly contract is illegal unless you have a hotel license.
