in june i must make the extension of my non-immigrant-O visa(in bkk), based on marriage with thai.

i am 52 and want to change it to retirement basic. for that i will transfer 400k from oversea next week (400k are already on my thai bank account). so the needed 800k are not for already 3 month on the account. also i have some questions...

must i fill tm86 and tm 87 for that change?

how is the chance to get a retirement visa?

shall i better let it do by a visa specialist?

No need to 'change' just fill in the form at immigration to apply for extension of stay

Bank book copy

Passport pages copy

Bank letter stating balance (matching last balance on book)

ID foto

Some immigration demand a letter from Embassy stating adress but believe Bangkok does not

1.900 baht

Approved same day on spot

Make sure money in account 3months before application

Apply within 1 month of your last day of your present period of stay

Do not believe they will approve a first retirement extension of stay without meeting the 800k in bank 3 months. But they may be able to provide a short extension to cover required period if you make transfer soon.
