Extend tourist visa AGAIN due to COVID

Featured Replies

So I already extended my 60 day TR visa on March 3 this will give me until April 2 next week... the gov have announced we can extend again but it doesn’t say if there is the usual 1900 fee ?

Also I am reading that I need to get a letter of some kind but I need ‘proof of my flight leaving thailand’

well I haven’t booked a flight to leave yet because I’ve been watching this corona B.S get worse everyday so it just made no sense to book a flight while every other country is closing it’s borders so what should I do ?

No extra paperwork required to get another 30 day extension of your 60 day tourist visa entry. Same documents and the 1900 baht fee.

For those they have taken out the limit of one per entry.

Proof that your flight has been cancelled may be required. This extension is meant for people that can't return to their home country.

Try applying for another extension and if rejected they should give you 7 days to leave the country; in which case you'll need to fly home or to a neighbouring country.

Has there been any reports here of anyone successfully doing this based on the above & if so, at which office(s)? I haven't seen any, only people posting they have been rejected and given 7 days.

I can't recall any but it hard to recall every post I have read today. I would guess there have been people that got them but didn't bother the post.

No explanation for those that were given 7 days from the people that did the posts.
