Can anyone still cross at Mukdahan over to Savannukhet to get a Non-O visa? I was there 2 weeks ago, and I still have my Laos visa that is still good for 30 days.

Any info on what is going on? I need to go back to get my Non-O visa, I was turned away because the lady told me that I need a new passport... I still had 3 1/2 pages on

Are these 3,5 pages meant for Visa stickers and stamps?

I am not a US citizen but recall reading on the Forum that the last 3 pages of a US passport are meant for 'notes' (and are designated as such) and cannot be used for Visa stickers or permission to stay stamps.

Obviously you can check by looking at your passport if that is indeed correct.

Yes, you are right...

 

Leaving aside that the border might be closed by now, do you have a multi entry visa for Laos? Otherwise you won't be able to use it to enter Laos another time, and from recent reports you probably won't be able to get a new Lao visa right now.
