Hey

im 20 and from the UK.

do i have to apply for a tourist visa if i am travelling to thailand but then going straight to cambodia through to vietnam. however I will then be returning to thailand for a few weeks after visiting vietnam? if i do stay in thailand for over 30 days can i just extend my visa while i am out there? and if you leave thailand and enter again, does it restart the 30 day visa?

thanks for your help

If your return air trip from Thailand is more than 30 days after your arrival you should obtain a tourist visa as entry without visa requires outbound ticket within 30 days and airlines may be strict on this.

You will receive a 30 day entry on your return from Viet Nam.

I would suggest that you get a Tourist Visa to be on the safe side.

You can get one by Mail from the Consulate in Hull.

Upon your first arrival (if you are going soon to Cambodia)

ask for a 30 day stay on arrival.

Use the Tourist Visa for a 60 day stay upon your entering Thailand from Vietnam.

Tourist Visas are valid for entry within 90 days.
