Was planning on flying in and out for meetings in Oz, so did not bother with the normal Non Im visa, flew in FEB25th extend tomorrow MARCH25.

 

As this is the 'first' extension, i trust it is business as usual, if there needs to be another one (God Forbid) at the end of APRIL, then i need to jump through the hoops at the time?

 

Also (i've never actually done this), can one transfer from Visa Exempt (in country) to Non - Immigrant (Multi-Entry) with little to no issues (funds are there).

No problem to apply for the first 30 day extension.

You can not apply for a multiple entry non immigrant visa here in the country.

You can only a for a single use one that is only valid for the day it issued based upon qualifying for some one year extensions of stay
