HI,on sale of my house I had to return to Australia,I then decided to buy another property here(downsized)which kept me here another month,in which time this thing hit!!My return flight was cancelled and there were no others. Now, in Thailand,Im on a Retirement Extension of the O visa which is due for Renewal on 2/6/20. Should I not make it back in time,which doesnt look promising,what do you guys think Immigration will have me do?Thank you for any help,as I am thinking the worst, in that I will have to go through the whole process again. If you cannot be here before June 2nd to do your extension you will have to start all over again.

If you don't make it back you'll have to start again. You'll need to re-enter with a new Non O visa, or enter as a tourist and apply for the Non O once in the country.

In case you can't re-enter Thailand before 2 June, you will indeed have to start from scratch again.
