Stop cats pooing

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, wishing you in good health.

My question is: How can I stop cats coming into my garden and pooing? This seems to be a regular thing especially at night. I don't want to shoot them up the Kyber with my airsoft gun but it is getting really annoying.

Thanks all and stay safe.

But Amazon does not deliver this to Thailand according to their site. However, thanks for the info, I will look for it elsewhere.

a shotgun seems to work well.  Just means a night's lost sleep.

Easy solution. Cats hate the smell of tobacco. Spread some tobacco at your fence and at the places where they do their poo. Works 100% and cheap nature solution.

I tried those ultrasonic machines. They do not work. I have about 7 feral cats on my soi and want to stop them from coming in.

Any other suggestions besides ridiculous ones like get a shotgun?

I don't smoke and have no idea where to get tobacco from. You mean cigarettes?

Works with the red thai Marlboro cigarette tobacco.

Your local market will have it, available in small packets

about 5 Baht, Chilli powder also works sprinkle about in

the places where they poop,

I use a nerf gun with a little pin attached to the end of the bullets.

They come in my garden fighting in the middle of the night, little f#&$ers!

Or get a big mean dog and that pussy will never come back again...

Daiso the Japanese 60 baht shop sells cat replant blocks of smelly stuff. Surprised that it actually worked. I have used the sonic things in the past but they always broke after a while. Have shot them up the <deleted> as well from a long distance with an air gun, which was most enjoyable. Not cats were harmed.

Although not a smoker myself the local market ( i live near a small market town south of Khon Kaen the market is old, smallish but covered ) has a stand that sells tobaccos.
You could also try spreading black pepper powder or chili powder as a previous person posted.

How to stop big mean dog pooing  a bear maybe ?

kill them, that's the only way i know.

A bit extreme but if you have a dog and you know where it pees in the grass etc then take a sample and spread near where the cats poo, it may work.     Could even try mixing it water to cover a larger area..

Lion poo also works. Bigger cat.
