cnconline
I am a Singaporean with 2 Thai kids. Never register my marriage but the name of the father in the birth certificates are mine. I will be doing a dependent visa with 1 of the visa companies (thaivisacentre). Just wanna check how reliable are these companies? Has anyone ever used these companies before and how was your experience? And is 60K 1st year followed by 35K per year too much to pay? Any advice is appreciated and thank you all in advance. glegolo
60K seems to be A LOT, really TOO MUCH at least double..... Do it yourself, or if you are unable, choose another VISA-company... glegolo
BritTim
This is very expensive. As a first step, with your name on the birth certificate, in most immigration offices, you can get a 60-day extension for 1,900 baht without the help of an agent. I assume your age is under 50. If over 50, an agent can get you a first year extension for about 20,000 baht and about 14,000 baht in subsequent years. The extension based on Thai child is more challenging, as it requires sign off at a higher level than a retirement extension. Without legitimising your status as the child's father, it is very possible that the payoffs could be that big.

rogerLepri
That place is good, but are you sure that is for dependent visa? They gave me different numbers for that process. (i couldnt do it because i didnt have enough days left on my visa).
