Guys if some could shed some light on my problem. 
 

today I spoke to my agent at Thailife insurance , as I wanted to renew my insurance policies , as I am due to up date my retirement visa, it noteworthy to mention that I had this insurance policy since I got my visa 6 years ago. 
 

my agent at Thailife informed that she could not help because the migration will not except their policy .

 

can anyone shed some light on this concern .

 

Also will migration except a photostat copy of my visa application , I really don’t want to make two trips in there . I deal with the head office in Bangkok.

Are you extending a entry from OA long stay visa issued by a embassy or consulate in you home country? If not you do not need insurance when you do your extension of stay.

Thank you for clearing that up for me Ubon joe . I must had miss read the communication on this topic. No my retirement visa was issue in Thailand it’s renewed yearly  so that’s a load of my mind I can just keep going with my usually insurance policy thanks again for your help much appreciated.

Take care, your Retirement Extension is issued each year in Thailand, it is not a Visa. You need to look for the Non-Imm Visa that the extensions are all based on.
