PHUKET: Chalong and Kathu have been “shut down” by order of the Phuket Governor, with all non-essential vehicles being banned entry or exit from the main tourist and expat residential areas on the island.

The two orders by Phuket Governor Phakaphong Tavipatana to “shut down” the areas to try to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus were dated as issued yesterday (Apr 6). Both orders were worded to come into effect on Apr 7, meaning at midnight last night.

A copy of the order to shut down Kathu was posted on the Kathu Municipality official Facebook page at 10:29am today (Apr 7).

But why

Eventually these city's must reopen and the ones who gonna come are from around the world.

To ensure safety for the gest and the residents must have crowd immunity or vaccinated

But don't have vaccine before at least a year probably longer.

So for all thais sake the government must explain what the solution is for these actions.

1 is, no more covo19 in Thailand.

But since it's still around and a world epidemic and the country rallying on tourism how that's gonna help the thais

Thais get no help

they must keep the country closed until a vaccine comes around.

Or what is the plan.

Just close all off but how they gonna reopen the country.

The government and governors are only restricting with no thinking about the future for the thais.

The problem is they must reopen the country as fast as possible.

But if they do like this, how do they suggest to get tourists back without the risk of having a new outbreak

As almost no thais are immune to covid 19.

They have space in hospitals so the right thing must be to reopen now and make sure that there are enough hospital beds.

If they don't think so, how come and what's the plan.

Must advise a plan to return now.

The numbers are declined and the hospitals are in good capacity.

So for the sake off all thais.

Get the plan together.
