30 day extention in chiang mai

Featured Replies

My tourist visa extention ends april 25 and I must send in to the us embassy my emergency passport for a new one by mail. Will I have to report on april 25 or the 30 when special decree ends to get a new visa extention stamp since I can not leave the country yet to process my immgration b paperwork for my job?

You do not need to do not anything until the emergency decree ends.

Why do you need a emergency passport?

It is possible to apply for a non immigrant visa (category B) entry at immigration if you and your employer can qualify for it.

I already have an emergency passport and want to mail it in to get my new ten year since I went to laos already to get myy imm B visa and the thai embassy would not give it to me because my passport was full. So if im not under a time limit to get back to chiang mai immigration then no reason not to go ahead and get the new one. I already have all my govt signed paperwork for my imm B from my school but when asking at immigration they said I have to go to laos to do it because my letter states it will be done in laos but my paperwork will expire on the 18 of this month so my school will have to apply for a third time for my paperwork when the borders open back up so rediculous it can not be processed here
