I have been meaning to set up pi-hole on a spare pi zero I had knocking around for sometime, not exclusively to block the video ads on ThaiVisa, but I find them too distracting.

 

Everything was great until this morning, I was getting a spinning wheel where the banner ads were and the floating video box was no longer visible, the pi-hole was also blocking magnet links from google search to Lazada, which was slightly annoying but livable with (but its an indication of the pi-holes effect)

 

Now it doest work block the ad's and I am able to click links from google search and this opens into Lazada.

 

Does anyone else use pi-hole and have any solutions?

 

OK, I updated 'Gravity' whilst typing the post, banner ads are now blocked and the video box takes a longtime to start playing, but eventually it does play.

 

So I need to blacklist something.

I have added the blocklists below from the pihole forum.  It blocks all the ads on TV and no video window opens.

I added those to the block list, some of them don’t parse - but it seems to do the job on some of the ads here. Thank you!
