It's a sound I like to hear,  pounding rain on the tin roof.   We had just enough water in the dam to finish the job today but instead we went out early and bought all the gear in for a wash and return to its storage place in the shed.  I did leave the suction hose out there....just in case!  42+/- across the 3 gauge sites.   The gauges only read to 37 if there is more water in it I am guessing as to how much.
