The first batch of face masks produced by the Industry Ministry for Bangkok and other high-risk provinces has been distributed.

Ministry spokesperson Suchada Thaensap said the masks to protect against Covid-19 already been delivered to people living in the capital’s Samphanthawong district (postcode 10100).

“The masks will be sent to all areas of Bangkok by the beginning of May,” she added.

The ministry will also send face masks to other high-risk areas, namely Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, and southern provinces. Service sector staff such as those working on public buses and at BTS and MRT stations, and post offices, will also receive the free masks.

The spokesperson added that the masks had been checked for quality by the Thailand Textile Institute before being delivered.

3-4 per house ? condo ?

And they are considering easing restrictions in one breath and the next masks are being distributed?

"“The masks will be sent to all areas of Bangkok by the beginning of May,” she added." and the rest of the country?
