A Thai man has been arrested for forging Covid-19 test certificates, records of 14-day quarantine and other medical documents, police said on Thursday (April 16).

Police began investigating after being alerted that the unnamed 24-year-old man was advertising his services online, according to tourist police chief Pol Lieutenant-General Chadtha Komolwattana.

They discovered that his customers, both Thai and foreign, hired him to forge medical documents they needed for job applications and various transactions.

Police searched his possessions and found forged hospital seals along with more than 65 fake forms from hospitals nationwide. The man confessed that he had been fabricating the documents for more than a year, said officers.

The man was charged with forging documents.

Police said they are now seeking to find out who hired him to create the forgeries.

Since he's self-employed even the BIBs should be able to work that out.....

Now that he's unemployed...can he apply for the 5000 baht payment ?
